You are invited to attend a second set of informational workshops to learn about and discuss invasive non-native Spartina, the Spartina Control Program, and the Spartina Control Program’s draft Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement/Report. The workshops will be held at the following locations:

1. May 28th, 2003, Fremont 6:30 to 9:00 pm
2. May 29th, 2003, Oakland
6:30 to 9:00 pm

Refreshments will be provided.

Driving Directions
DENWR Visitor Center Directions: From Highway 84 (at the east end of the Dumbarton Bridge), exit at Thornton Avenue. Travel south on Thornton Avenue for 0.8 miles to the Refuge entrance on the right. Turn right into the Refuge and follow Marshlands Road to the stop sign. Turn left into the parking lot.

BART Directions:
ABAG is located on the first floor of the Joseph P. Bort MetroCenter, 101 8th Street, Oakland, CA 94607. It is directly across the street from the Lake Merritt Bart Station.

Driving Directions
From 101/280 freeway going North (Peninsula/San Francisco)
Take 101 N. or 280 W. towards San Francisco.
Take I-80 E. and go over the Bay Bridge.
Take I-580 S. (becomes 980 S.)
Take the JACKSON ST. exit and continue straight onto 5TH ST.
Turn LEFT onto OAK ST.
Turn LEFT onto 8TH ST.
From the 880 freeway going north (East Bay/South Bay)
Take I-880 N.
Turn RIGHT onto OAK ST.
Turn LEFT onto 8TH ST.
